Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Guests often appreciate The Queens Head's central location in Stratford, making it easy to visit the RSC theatre and other attractions, with the NCP car park conveniently nearby. The rooms are considered a good size by many, with comfortable beds ensuring a good night's sleep, though a few guests have found some rooms to be on the smaller side. The building itself has a charming and cosy feel, and while the kitchen was recently being refurbished, the pub offers a great selection of beers. A number of guests mentioned the opportunity to bring food from nearby establishments, such as the highly-rated fish and chips shop across the street, to enjoy in the pub while drinking.

the staff were friendly. the location is very central. it is near shops and restaurants. the room was a good size so i slept well.
it was advertised as 4 stars. this is inaccurate. i think it's two stars at best. there was mold on the side of the bed and ceiling. the room was very basic and attached to a pub.

the location worked very well. i found it easy to walk to many places. the room had a lovely bay window. i also appreciated the easy check-in and check-out process.
the building's character, while charming, meant that some areas felt slightly worn.

the location was excellent. the staff offered a friendly welcome. the building has a quirky design, especially noticeable on the stairs. the en suite was very good too.
the room smelled strongly of cigarettes. black mould covered the bathroom ceiling. the main door did not fully fit the door frame, so corridor lighting bled into the room all night.
